BBC Jam	A growing collection of multimedia resources. Registration and log in needed to access the site.
British Pathe Archive	3,500 hours of video and 12 million still images filmed over 75 years. Free to download from any school machines connected to the Internet through the LEA (no need for passwords, the routing to the site recognises connections from schools). The images can be used in a number of curriculum areas - see the English links for an example.

Cotton Town	Too much material to be confined to the History section - Cotton Town can support education at Key Stages 1 - 3 by supplying quality learning resources relevant to many subject areas.
Learn Listening Online - for all levels	An interactive resource for students of NQ music to improve their knowledge and listening skills. Students can listen to hundreds of sound files while reading clear explanations to aid their understanding of musical topics and periods. The resource ranges from baroque and classical vocal and instrumental examples, through to twentieth century jazz and world music. The website also features an extensive audio dictionary of musical terms.
Learning & Teaching Using ICT - Catalogue	The main hindrance to using these CDs is the lack of an index. Medway LEA have produced this catalogue in Excel forma.
Naace	Naace is the professional association for those concerned with advancing education through the appropriate use of information and communications technology (ICT). The association was established in 1984 and has become the key influential professional association for those working in ICT in Education.
National Whiteboard Network	Resources (lots of them in various formats) and advice about getting the most from your interactive whiteboard. Part of the Primary National Strategy.
Noodle Tools	Google is the world's most popular search engine - but it may not be the best for your purpose. This site provides details of other sites which may provide more efficient results.
North West Learning Grid	Some excellent resources on a wide range of subjects. Good interactive resources particularly in Literacy, Numeracy and Science.
On your marks - London 2012	On Your Marks! is the first step in the London 2012 Education Programme and a wider programme of activities will be launched in the run up to 2012. The site contains factsheets, news articles, cross-curricular teaching ideas to support teachers and support staff in using these resources within the classroom and a library of pictures for use at home or at school. It's packed full of information about the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

Podcast directory for educators, schools and colleges	The first UK directory to list podcasts for educational use - suitable for use by children and young people at school, college and elsewhere. More and more podcasts in both audio and video formats are now available on the Internet. All of the podcasts listed on our website are carefully selected as good examples of "educational podcasting".

Teachers' tv	Details of current programmes - plus web access to a vast collection of previously broadcast material.
The British Library	The British Library encourages people to think about big ideas, interpret sources and do their own research. On these pages you can explore online resources.
Vivisimo	A really useful search engine which clusters results by category. If you havn't tried it do - you may never use Google again!
